Cytech Training
Invest in your greatest asset and get 10% discount on Cytech technical training
Whether you are committed to ongoing investment in the development of your employees and their skills, or are exploring which training options would be best for your business, this section introduces a complete range of cycle technician training and skills development courses.
Investing in training your staff is becoming increasingly more important as small independent retailers fight to compete with larger chain stores.
Providing the highest levels of training allows staff to have the best product knowledge, technical skills and sales skills, all of which help to increase sales and increase customer loyalty.
Service is now crucial to the success of a physical store, with so much emphasis being placed on the ease of internet shopping. It is the customer service and technical knowledge that will continue to ensure consumers stay loyal to their local retailers.

What do our members say?
"Despite having over 25 years of experience in the bike trade, both on the shop floor and in the workshop, the Cytech technical two course provided our shop manager with a comprehensive underpinning of knowledge to his existing experience. Whilst further installing confidence in how our workshop could and should operate.
Throughout all of the various interactions we have had with Cytech and ATG Training, from administrative processes to training and assessments, they have proved themselves to be a company and a team of people we can and do trust. I would further go to say that they have had a significant influence in the success of Bay Cycles. Consequently, I would have no hesitation in recommending ATG Training and their delivery of Cytech training and apprenticeships to others."
Lisa Gubby, Bay Cycles
"On doing my research I very quickly realised that the Cytech training was the industry recognized standard for cycle maintenance training, so as part of my business plan I booked onto the course. I found the training to be of an excellent standard and the instructors were highly experienced having worked in the industry for years, the training environment was superb with access to all the tools and space required to run a bicycle workshop, the assessment was thorough with great support provided by the instructors.
The Cytech training gave me the right tools to open my bicycle shop which I have now been running successfully. The cycle industry requires this level of training and I would highly recommend this training to people looking to set up a cycle shop or to become qualified cycle technicians."
John Pagan, Cannimore Cycles
"All our technical, sales, marketing and even warehouse staff are Cytech trained. We believe for many of them it is an essential part of the work they do and enables them to converse confidently with our customers. I always recommend retailers invest in Cytech for the same reasons whilst also adding credibility to their business from the customer perspective."
Nigel Roberts, Trek UK
"Cytech qualifications are a must for the bike business. Customers know that if a bike comes to our store for servicing they will get the same treatment as when they walk into the service reception of a motor dealer. Sometimes it can be better."
Martin Richardson, South Downs Bikes, Sussex
