Foffa Bikes recruiting dealers

Posted on in Brands & Products News , Cycles News

Offer your customers a bespoke classic bike at affordable prices with Foffa Bikes - now seeking dealers.

Foffa Bikes is a collaboration between Italian designer and passionate cyclist Dani Foffa and commercial photographer Tyson Sadlo, who saw a gap in the market for high quality affordable bespoke classic bikes.

Dani started in 2006 from his tiny one bedroom flat doing vintage bikes up as a hobby and after two years he teamed up with Tyson and a few passionate cyclist friends to open the London showroom and things have been pretty busy since.

They started with the launch of their signature single speed ‘Prima' bike based on a lightweight Cromoly double butted frameset, which comes in 7 different colours and starts at £545.00 for a complete build (including VAT and shipping). The Prima has received excellent feedback from customers and has been given ‘the top 10 commuters' and ‘the top 50 bikes' awards by the Independent.

To make the design process as easy as possible, in 2010 they created their unique online bike builder program, which allows users to design their bike to suit their needs and aesthetic values. Currently there are around 250 billion combinations to choose from and include brands like Brooks, Shimano, Campagnolo, Schwalbe, Continental, Vittoria, Cinelli, San Marco and Fizik.

Foffa Bikes have also collaborated with a few talented London designers to come up with the ‘Stick-your-fix' concept, which offers the ultimate frame customisation with a large range of hard-wearing water proof vinyl stickers to choose from. As a result of this initiative, they have been approached to collaborate with a whole host of other companies, like the fashion brand ASOS and advertising agency JWT, to encourage their in house creatives and customise the ultimate bespoke bike.

Upcoming Projects

In May 2012 they will be launching a geared frame revolved around a classic lugged Columbus frameset, which will retail from £945.00 and will be also fully customisable online with most Campagnolo and Shimano groupsets and wheelsets to choose from.

Also in May 2012 a limited edition of 100 ladies frames will be launched. They will start at £545.00 and also customisable through their online bike builder application.

Dani has also created the Foffa ‘Ciao', a bike designed for conceptual comfort since it allows for a much higher riding posture similar to the popular Dutch bike, while at the same time retaining the lightness and efficiency of single speed bike, which makes it ideal for commuting in the city. It will also be launched in May 2012 and retail from £575.00.

Become a Foffa Bikes Dealer

Now that Foffa Bikes exhibit an open range of models and had some great press coverage (the Evening Standard, Vogue, Bike Radar, the Financial Times, the Independent, BikeBiz, and Road.cc to name a few), they are now seeking to develop a national network of retailers to stock their models.
